Jesuit Collegium in Polotsk

Today, the former Jesuit Collegium is one of the main attractions of Polotsk, open to tourists. Visitors can walk around the courtyard, admire the Renaissance buildings of the architectural complex, view the exposition. The appearance was restored according to the surviving drawings and lithographs almost exactly. And his appointment has not changed an inch - the historical and philological faculty of Polotsk University is located within the walls of the former collegium.

On the territory of a well-deserved university, thematic excursions are held, historical societies arrange reenactment performances here, and extensive educational work is being carried out. In summer, copies of famous paintings are hung in the courtyard.
